VIGILLANCE AWARENESS WEEK-2016
Under observance of VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK or “VAW-2016” (31Oct-5Nov, 2016)”, as per guidelines issued by Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) and AICTE, IPEC has extended its open arm support and organized three activities for its own students, in coordination with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) -
Remedeo (an Oratory Event) – Mr Anirban Sur (ME) and Ms Shweta Chaku (CSE) conducted the event remedeo on 4th Nov, 2016 in IT seminal Hall with all the excellence, and Mr Suraj Chand, Mr Swaraj Ray, Mr Chandrakant Pandey were declared as winners securing first, second and third positions.
Drawing and Painting Competition - Expert guidance and supervision of Ms Shalini Singh (ECE) and Mr Kishan Kumar (IT) helped to conduct Drawing and Painting competition on 4th Nov, 2016 in Sports Arena, and Ms Shivani Gupta (CSE 3rd Yr), Ms Shalu Choudhary (CSE 3rd Yr) and Ms Shrishtee Kumari (IT 2nd Yr) won first, second and third prizes.
BEL representatives, Shri Sanjay Srivastava (Additional General Manager, Materials Management–Radar & Central), Shri Sunil Kohli (Sr. Deputy General Manager, Vigilance/Northern Units), Shri Anil Kumar Gupta (Deputy General Manager, Vigilance) and Shri Praveen Mishra (Deputy General Manager, Materials Management –Central), inaugurated the closing ceremony of the ‘VAW-2016’ in the gracious presence of Director, Dean Academics, HODs of various departments, faculty and students. Skit “BHRASHTACHAR” was performed by the team NIVEDHA of IT department on this occasion and was highly appreciated by the audience. Completely indigenous script, direction, acting and coordination in the SKIT, all were touching standards and impact was truly everlasting. Winners were awarded certificates and prizes by BEL authorities with a great note of appreciation and fruitful bonding between IPEC and BEL. In his valedictory address Director Prof BC Sharma specially mentioned future industrial and alumini interaction with BEL in the welfare of existing students of IPEC. Concluding the ceremony, Dr Upasana Mishra (Incharge), presented a brief report and recommendations on ‘Public participation in promoting integrity and eradicating corruption’ and thanked everyone to witness the ceremony. The observance of VAW-2016 was a great success.
