Inderprastha Business School (IBS), C/o Inderprastha Engineering College (IPEC), Ghaziabad, successfully organized a Five-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Re-envisioning Higher Education through Indian Knowledge Systems: Tradition, Innovation & Sustainability” from 22nd June to 26th June 2026.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from academicians, researchers, and educators from institutions across India. With an average participation of more than 50 faculty members per day, the FDP served as a vibrant platform for intellectual exchange and exploration of the relevance of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) in contemporary higher education.
Over the five days, eminent resource persons from academia and industry delivered insightful sessions on diverse themes including the foundations of Indian Knowledge Systems, value-based education and ethics, indigenous knowledge in various disciplines, Indian management and leadership principles, and curriculum design & assessment through the lens of IKS. Each speaker elaborated on the scheduled topics in depth, enriching participants with practical perspectives, historical insights, and innovative approaches to integrating traditional wisdom into modern educational practices. The sessions were highly interactive and encouraged meaningful discussions on the role of Indian knowledge traditions in shaping future-ready education.
The FDP concluded on a highly positive note, with participants appreciating the quality of deliberations, relevance of the themes, and the opportunity to engage with distinguished experts. The programme reaffirmed IBS-IPEC’s commitment to promoting holistic and value-driven education while contributing to the national vision of integrating Indian Knowledge Systems into higher education.
