2 Report on Felicitation Ceremony of EiR Startups under GENESIS Scheme MeitY 27/02/2026 270 Students & Faculty Members IPEC–TBI Foundation, the Technology Business Incubator of Inderprastha Engineering College, successfully organized the Felicitation Ceremony for the Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EiR) startups shortlisted under the GENESIS Scheme of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, on 27 February 2026 at 2:30 PM at Atal Sabhaghar, IPEC. IPEC–TBI has been recognized as a Group–3 Centre under the GENESIS Scheme, reaffirming its strong commitment to nurturing technology-driven entrepreneurship and fostering innovation within the academic ecosystem. The felicitation ceremony successfully recognized and encouraged the EiR startups selected under the GENESIS Scheme. The event strengthened the startup ecosystem at IPEC by acknowledging innovative ideas and motivating entrepreneurs to continue developing technology-driven solutions. It also enhanced the visibility of IPEC–TBI as a supportive platform for startup incubation and innovation
3 IPEC–TBI Startup Mentoring Session with Dr. Mahjabin Banu IPEC 11/02/2026 11 Students & Faculty Members The mentoring session was organized with the objective of providing strategic and managerial guidance to startups and student innovators. The session aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of business planning, market strategies, and effective management practices required for building and sustaining successful startups. It also intended to encourage entrepreneurial thinking and support startups in strengthening their business models and decision-making capabilities. The mentoring session provided startups with strategic and managerial insights to strengthen their entrepreneurial journey. Participants received guidance on business planning, management strategies, and effective decision-making. The session helped startups better understand market challenges and develop structured approaches for business growth
4 Mentoring Session on Patent and IPR MeitY 03/02/2026 13 Students & Faculty Members The mentoring session was organized with the objective of creating awareness among startups and student innovators about Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), with special emphasis on patents. The session aimed to provide practical guidance on protecting innovations and understanding the patent filing process in India The session enhanced awareness among startups and student innovators about Intellectual Property Rights and the importance of protecting their innovations. Participants gained clarity on the patent filing process in India and learned practical steps to secure their intellectual assets. The session encouraged startups to consider patent protection as a key strategy for safeguarding their technological innovations.
5 Mentoring Session with Industry Expert MeitY 26/01/2026 12 Students & Faculty Members The mentoring session with Mr. Sanjeev Malik was a valuable learning experience and aligned well with the objectives of IPEC–TBI to provide industry-driven mentorship to startups. 6 National Startup day MeitY 16/01/2026 250 Students & Faculty Members The event aimed to motivate students, innovators, and early-stage entrepreneurs by providing them with first-hand exposure to entrepreneurial journeys, idea validation, and the role of perseverance and support systems in building successful startups. The session successfully inspired students and early-stage entrepreneurs to explore entrepreneurship as a career path. Participants gained insights into real entrepreneurial journeys, the importance of idea validation, and the role of perseverance and support systems in building sustainable startups.
