ISRO-IIRS Outreach Programme Nodal Centre Inderprastha Engineering College

Inderprastha Engineering College, Ghaziabad, is officially registered as a Nodal Centre for Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) Outreach E-Learning Education Program.

IIRS is a premier Training, Educational and Research Institute under, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Department of Space, Government of India. It was established for developing trained professionals in the field of Remote Sensing, Geo informatics and GNSS technology for Natural resources, environmental and disaster management.

About IIRS Outreach Programme

IIRS Outreach Programme is an initiative of Indian Institute of Remote Sensing, in which online interactive courses, workshops etc. are conducted to create awareness among students and working professionals in the areas of fundamentals and advanced concepts of Remote Sensing technology and its applications. Currently IIRS distance learning programme is being conducted through following two modes:

1. Live and Interactive classroom sessions (https://eclass.iirs.gov.in)

2. E-learning/MOOC based online courses (https://elearning.iirs.gov.in)

Advantages of this program

1. Free Virtual mode sessions

2. Live and Interactive sessions will be conducted by experts from IIRS-ISRO.

3. After the completion, of course, E-Certificate is provided based on 70 % attendance and an online exam for some courses.

– All IPEC students, staff, faculty and working professionals are eligible.

– Register with your IPEC email id and upload your college ID card as ID proof. After login, select IIRS Nodal Centre Inderprastha Engineering College(Coordinator: Swati Vaid) option for registration.

– Certificates will be Emailed/ Distributed after successful completion of the course.
