Conferences Organized ICACDS-2019 Department of Information Technology and CSE are organizing ICACDS-2019. All Selected and presented papers will be submitted for publication with Springer in Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS).

ICCET, 2019 Department of Information Technology organizing INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE on CONTEMPORARY ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY 2019, ICCET, 2019, to promote exchange of novel thoughts and creative ideas amongst academicians, industrialists, students and research scholars. e- Yantra Robotics Club’ “SAKROBOTIX Webinar” e-Yantra club organized a Webinar on 5th Sep 2018 for B.Tech students on “Underwater Robotics” by SAKROBOTIX STARTUP. SakRobotix is an Indian Robotics Startup headquartered in Startup Centre, IIT Bhubaneswar that designs, develops, research, and sells Robots, Robotics DIY KIT, Robotics toys and offers online robotics education. The objective of the webinar was to motivate students to making projects on Robotics.

“Embedded System with IoT” e-Yantra club organized a workshop on 22nd Sep,2018 for B.Tech students on “Embedded System with Internet of things(IoT)” with new and advanced concept to understand Embedded systems and implementation in IoT technology from basics and apply them to build working projects.

International Conference on Modern Mathematical methods and High Performance Computing in Science and Technology, Springer

M3HPCST 2018 Department of Information Technology, CSE and Applied Science Department has organized “Second International Conference on Modern Mathematical Methods and High Performance Computing in Science and Technology” (M3HPCST 2018) on Jan 4th -6th, 2018. All submitted paper were reviewed and accepted paper were published in a book of proceedings by Springer verlag. The proceeding was indexed in the major databases including the web of science and Scopus.

WORKSHOP ON HTML WITH COORDINATE GEOMETRY

A one day workshop on “HTML WITH COORDINATE GEOMETRY” conducted by AZETOC ACADEMY at IPEC, on 26th July, 2017. Around 50 students of IT department participated in the workshop. The aim of this workshop was to cover the following points:

Lecture series 4 “Course on Robotics” by e-Yantra Club

e-Yantra Club successfully organized lecture series 4 of “Course on Robotics” on 12th August’17. This lecture series was based on AVR for B.tech students of all branches. The objective of this workshop was to provide knowledge about AVR micro controller and programming with AVR. Around 50 students participated in this workshop.

Workshop on “Wireless Robotics” by AICRA(All India Council for Robotics and Automation)

e-Yantra club conducted two days AICRA workshop on “Wireless Robotics” affiliated by ministry of science and technology on 23rd and 24th September’17.The objective of this workshop was to make students acquainted about robotics building blocks and increase their visual modality. This workshop was lead by two speaker guests:

  • Mr Herald Methew
  • Mr Sanghanesh

They left a remarkable impact on mindsets of students.A competition was held after the workshop. Two teams were selected. They will participate in Technoxian 2018. Winners: 1st prize Udit and team 2nd prize. Anushka Singh and team

Enlighten Summit’17

Department of IT, conducted a one-day Seminar on 6th September 2017. The objective of the seminar is to provide a platform for students to enrich their knowledge, character building, cognitive processing and modeling. Enlighten Summit’17 campaigns to encourage, empower, enlighten students. The Seminar started with the welcome address by Dr. Pooja Tripathi, Convener of the seminar by brief introduction of the theme of the seminar. Dr. B.C. Sharma, Director, Inderprastha Engineering College welcome distinguished speakers and encourage students to become an active element in the nation building processes. The seminar consisted of following four sessions.

Session I: Ms. Minal Singh from NASCOM gave a brief initial presentation about the large impact of Cyber Security. She motives students to stay updated with the technology, get practical experiences and how to improve technical skills. She briefly told about different sectors and job roles in industries, different technologies and no. of job roles in each technology.

Session II: In this session Mr. Pravek Saxena Co-founder & CEO of Smalt & Beryl gave brief information about how to maximize potential. He very nicely explains about gap between College graduates and Industries with real time example, Plan for journey to success and Self-awareness about aspirations like strength, Interests and capabilities.

Session III: In this session Mr. Manish Garg from tech9apps enlighten students about what things needed to be an Entrepreneur and what thing affects thinking innovative.

Session IV: In this session Mr. Amir Khan from Aptron covered an overview of research areas in the emerging field of IOT. Dr. Pooja Tripathi, Convener of the seminar had encapsulated the outcome of the seminar as both enlightening and riveting and concluded the workshop with a vote of thanks.

Engineer’s Day

As we all know 15 September is celebrated as Engineer’s Day every year. Inderprastha Engineering college has been celebrating this day since last three years. This day was celebrated with full zeal. The event was divided into three parts; project competition within each department, poster presentation within college and project exhibition at college level.

IT department also participated in all three events. Statistically, 28 students of IT department have been participated in all three events. More precisely, 6 students (three teams) have taken part in project competition with the IT department. Four students (two teams) out of them won the prize. Four students (two) had taken part in poster competition which was conceptual based. One team won IIIrd prize in this competition. Twenty students (seven teams) participated in project competition. Following are some titles of good projects:- Complaint Desk, Students’ Finance Forum, Chat-Server (ChatBox), Bluetooth Based Chat Server, ADVANCE BITCON MONITOR. These projects were appreciated by judges, Director and Visitors.

NETCAMP PROGRAM By TRINITY-IT

Trinity-IT organized a 20 days program by “NETCAMP” for the students of branch CSE and IT from 7th September – 26th September 2017 The program was organized under the guidance Mrs. Pooja Tripathi (HOD IT), Mrs. Preeti Sharma (CONVENER). The program was conducted by “SANTU PURKAIT” which includes 3 courses mentioned below:

  • Networking with ethical hacking
  • Android with core java
  • Web Development

A total of 62 participant came up from both the branches. All the students made projects on the based on the above courses.

Margdarshak Introductory Talk: Building Professionals

Margdarshak is a global mentorship platform where mentees can connect for In-person, Invididualized and Industry oriented learning and development. This experiential learning based mentorship empowers students helping them discover themselves and then internalize work ready competencies in an industry simulated environment under the guidance of industry experts. Mr. Praveek gave the talked to our students on 30th Oct’17 for motivating them to join such programs to make them industry ready .

SOPRA Steria

A SOPRA IPEC industry academia program on “AGILE Methodology for software development” was conducted on 11th Nov,2017 for B.Tech (CS,IT ) 3rd year students . The session was taken by two resource person Ms.Pooja Srivastava and Mr. Prakash Srivastava from ESRI India Technologies Ltd. They explained the working and different terms used for AGILE methodology in IT industries. At last, Quiz session was held in the field of AGILE.

IoT-NCR seminar By e-Yantra Club

e- Yantra Club conducted a seminar on IoT for B.tech(all branches) students by IoT-NCR group on 07th April’18. IOT NCR is an open community for people interested in the Internet of Things and M2M. Focus of this group is to allow like minded IOT/M2M enthusiasts attend workshops/talks, work together on IoT projects, share equipments and resources, build IoT solutions and startups, and generally stay updated about the latest developments in the connected world. The resource persons were :
