NASSCOM FutureSkills and Adobe have jointly launched UX Design Learning Program. It is a unique blend of Theory and Hands-on with the Adobe XD tool embedded into the curriculum.

Students will earn a joint certificate by NASSCOM FutureSkills and Adobe on completion. Additionally, there will be career guidance sessions organized by NASSCOM for students by UX Industry Experts. During students’ learning journey they will be at Industry Assignments / Projects for students with Adobe and Industry Partners.

Foundation Curriculum – User Experience Design: is aimed at up-skilling those who have a basic understanding of design or information technologies and helping them expand their knowledge and learn the fundamentals of User Experience Design at a foundation level. This Curriculum has been divided into 5 modules which correspond to the different aspects of user experience design and development. The duration of the course is ~38 Hrs

  • Module 1 – Introduction to User Experience Design

  • Module 3 – Visual Design
  • Module 4 – User Experience Design Strategy
  • Module 5 – Mock-Up

  • Explain the user experience process
  • Define different components of user experience
  • Explain concepts of good user experience design
  • Conduct different types of user experience research Conduct user tests to collect data, analyse and summarize findings
  • Discuss best practices for designing visual elements

  • Develop a sitemap, information architecture and navigation for smooth and intuitive user experiences

As part of its ongoing efforts to promote skilling as a national priority, NASSCOM FutureSkills and Microsoft have joined hands to launch a nationwide AI skilling initiative. The initiative aims to skill 1 million students in AI by 2021.

The collaboration will provide Microsoft’s AI, machine learning and data science expertise to students through easy to consume modules including live demos, hands on workshops and assignments. These introductory sessions on AI will be available for undergraduate students at no cost and will cover the basics of data science, machine learning models on Azure, and understanding of cognitive services to build intelligent solutions. The partnership with NASSCOM FutureSkills is an extension of Microsoft’s global skilling initiative to help 25 million people worldwide acquire new digital skills, needed to thrive in a digital economy.

Technologies like AI are becoming enablers for every business today, making the need for creating an AI ready ecosystem vital for India’s economic and social value creation.

Microsoft is deeply invested in creating a digital skills ecosystem to equip India’s youth with AI-ready skills for evolving job roles and our partnership with NASSCOM FutureSkills is a strong step in that direction.

The joint initiative with Microsoft aims to not only build future AI skilled talent but also nurture job creation through constant reskilling and up-skilling for the years to come.

The AI Classroom Series is designed in three modules:

The online classes including live demos, hands-on workshops and assignments through self-learning, virtual instructor-led training, and mentoring.

The teaching sessions conducted by various experts, including experts from Microsoft and NASSCOM. Students have the option to choose from multiple time slots and plan their own learning pace. Registered students will also have access to content and developer tools from Microsoft and GitHub.

A participation certificate from NASSCOM and Microsoft will be awarded to students at the end of the series. The partnership will also steer collaboration with various academic institutes and colleges to integrate new cloud and AI technologies into the curriculum, with a vision to make India the global hub for skilled talent in AI.

We signed a MOU with EMC Corporation In year 2014-2015 for training our Faculties as well as Students on emerging niche technologies like Cloud Computing, Data warehousing etc.

ICT Academy is an initiative of the Government of India in collaboration with the state Governments and Industries. ICT Academy is a not-for-profit society, the first of its kind pioneer venture under the Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) model that endeavours to train the higher education teachers and students thereby exercises on developing the next generation teachers and industry ready students. We signed a MOU with ICT academy in year 2018.

NASSCOM-Aricent Programme, (“Aricent Employability Enhancement Programme 2018” with NASSCOM Certification)

‘Arise by Aricent’, previously known as Aricent Employability Enhancement Program has been conceptualized towards filling the demand and supply gap, that currently exists in the IT-ITeS sector, as substantiated by various analyses and studies of the labor market.

The Program provides a platform for engineering students to enhance their employability skills – relevant to the IT-ITeS sector, – through rigorous intervention and training which is provided both online and on-campus. Students and participating colleges for ’Arise by Aricent’ are carefully selected to ensure that the program reaches young marginalized students of tier-2 and tier-3 Engineering colleges of even remote areas. For a wider geographical reach, the program runs in two modes – online and on-campus. Arise by Aricent online is in partnership with IIT Madras and Arise by Aricent’ on-Campus which is running in a multifaceted manner is in partnership with NASSCOM Foundation.

Department of CSE/IT, IPEC is organizing an on–Campus summer training under the “Aricent Employability Enhancement Programme-2018”. Students successfully completing the course and assessments shall finally be linked to suitable employment opportunities through placement drives and job fairs.

Objective:- This program is aimed at training candidates for the job of Software Developer in the IT-ITes Sector /Industry.
